Dye Expedition

Dyeing with natural materials becomes a matter of vegetal synesthesia: letting a seed or a flower sing, while cooking, a melody that can only be heard with the eyes. Here lies a dye pentagram unfolded: five chromatic universes obtained from the application of five dye species on 18 different natural fibers, are the notes of this composition.
450 natural fibers dyed with annatto, caraota beans, moringa, hibiscus flower and rosemary.
